The Christian life is intended to be a dynamic life. When we read the Scriptures, Jesus Christ makes this statement, "I have come that you might have life, and have it to the full or abundantly." (John 10:10) When Jesus is invited to enter a person's life His Spirit becomes present moment to moment to be at work to bring about this abundance within the believer as he/she chooses to respond. The essential relationship between Jesus and the believer becomes the source or "seedbed" for the growth that happens over the life span in the believer.The programs of Spiritual Formation and Direction offered here at the Renewing Life Center are designed to assist any believer in this life-long dynamic journey of knowing Jesus Christ and allowing His Spirit to bring about the abundant life Jesus came to give.
Jesus came to change our world....to restore what was lost when sin entered the world. This change that occurs in believers can be referred to as transformation, that is, inner-life change that in time brings outer-life formation of behaviors. We may refer to these inner and outer changes as SPIRITUAL FORMATION.
